As a young girl, Cindy’s family moved several times taking them to many new places before settling down on a dairy farm just outside of Mansfield, Missouri. Cindy attended school at Mansfield for a few years and would later complete her education and obtain her GED. On September 15, 1983, Cindy was united in marriage to Gary Lemons, and to this union three children were born. Cindy and Gary spent 20 wonderful years together raising their children until his passing on September 7, 2004.

Cindy was a jack of all trades. She worked as a cartoonist for Warner Brothers, owned a hair salon that was located in Hartville, at what is now the historical society, called “Tique”, worked as a customer service manager at Walmart, and worked at Copeland and Durham. It was at Durham that she met Ronnie Rohwer. They quickly fell in love and, on April 30, 2010, they were united in marriage.

Cindy attended church at the Mansfield Assembly of God Church and helped lead many people to know God including her husband, Ronnie, and her son, Alan. She was known for her strong unwavering faith even throughout her sickness. In her spare time she loved to cook, especially her famous peanut butter cookies. She enjoyed gardening and was very proud of her flowers. She enjoyed knitting, making several baby blankets, baby booties, and even a coat for her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would spend every possible moment she could with them. To say she loved her dogs may be an understatement. Some would even allege that she loved her dogs more than her children.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Peggy Sparlin, her husband, Gary Lemons, and brother, Doug Sparlin.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Rohwer of the home, three children, Alan Lemons, of Grovespring, Missouri, Chad Lemons and Amy of Alaska, Mindy Lemons and Anthony of Osage Beach, Missouri, her sister, Ellen Pilkington, 7 grandchildren, Cheyenne, Paige, Kiana, Hayleigh, Liam, Wyatt, and June, 4 great-grandchildren, and a many more extended family and friends all of whom she loved dearly.

Cindy was the type of person that could light up any room that she walked into just with her smile. She was Godly, loving, and kind. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
