Friday in Willow Springs was senior night for the Bears, playing their final regular season game against the Ava Bears.
Ava would come out strong, scoring on the first play of the game, and would lead 24 – 0 at the end of the first quarter.
But Willow Springs would come alive in the 2nd quarter on offense with 20 points, but at the end of the first half, they would trail the Ava Bears by a score of 42-20
In the second half, it was all Ava, as they scored almost at will, and would go on to win the game by a score of 77-36
With the loss, Willow Springs end their regular season with a record of 3 – 6. Up next for the Bears will be the first round of District play next week.
