ASH FLAT, Ark. – The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office is preparing for its annual “Shop With A Hero” event, set to take place on Saturday, December 13, at 8 a.m. in the Walmart garden center in Ash Flat.
The program pairs local children with law enforcement officers and first responders for a holiday shopping experience designed to spread cheer and support families during the Christmas season.
Registration is open now, and will continue during regular business hours. Families interested in participating are encouraged to contact the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office at 870-994-7356, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to sign up or request additional information.
Organizers said they look forward to another successful year of giving back to the community and helping children enjoy a brighter holiday.
