WEST PLAINS AND KOSHKONONG, MISSOURI: On Friday, October 24, 2025 Ozark Spring Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) member Mary Ann Mutrux visited the Oregon-Howell R-III School District, Koshkonong, MO, and presented thirteen books for the library. The gifted donation fell under the pillar of Education which is highly promoted by the DAR. Experienced librarian, Iris Phipps, and other DAR representatives chose the books selected for the donated gift. November 1st is National Literacy Day, and the chapter hopes that the children will benefit from this gift. The donated books have a sticker inside in memory of Mrs. Jeanette Pease, a charter member of the Ozark Spring Chapter, who lived in Koshkonong.
