SHARP COUNTY, Ark. — According to Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, the following individuals were incarcerated during the week of Dec. 22 through Dec. 29, 2025. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Wayne Berry, 47, of Ash Flat, was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battering.

John Deckard, 45, of Ash Flat, was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battering.

Nathan Duke, 32, of Sidney, was arrested for public intoxication, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance (not methamphetamine or cocaine, greater than or equal to 2 grams but less than 28 grams), and possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance (less than four ounces).

George Fletcher, 38, of Evening Shade, was arrested for possession of a firearm by certain persons.

Brian Guptill, 39, of Cherokee Village, was arrested on charges of theft of property valued between $1,000 and $5,000, first-degree criminal mischief involving property damage valued between $1,000 and $5,000, and commercial burglary.

Cody Homod, 32, of Cherokee Village, was arrested on multiple charges, including six counts of failure to appear (misdemeanor), seven counts of failure to pay on contempt of court, driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license, no proof of liability insurance, defective equipment, possession of a controlled substance, hunting or fishing without a license, obstructing governmental operations, and possession of drug paraphernalia related to methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, or fentanyl.

Kayla Korpi, 32, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

William Lambert, 59, of Arkansas, was arrested for criminal trespass in or on a vehicle or structure, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Cindy Lee, 66, of Cave City, was arrested on charges of third-degree battery and third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.

Hayden Moore, 22, of Batesville, was arrested for second-degree battery and third-degree domestic battering.

Jimmy Morgan, 72, of Powhatan, was arrested on charges including third-degree battery, refusal to submit to a chemical test, disorderly conduct, failure to change address on a driver’s license, no seatbelt, failure to obey a police officer, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and resisting arrest.

Jeffery Stanfield, 46, of Williford, was arrested for second-degree domestic battering involving physical injury.

Jesse Steward, 46, of Arkansas, was arrested for public intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.

Marcus Suiters, 20, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license, fleeing in a vehicle, reckless driving, and underage driving under the influence.

Gregory Woolsey, 29, of Franklin, was arrested on charges of internet stalking of a child and fourth-degree sexual assault.
