Viola, AR. – A Viola man is facing criminal charges after shooting out the tires of a truck following a traffic accident.
This took place on March 6th on the 1000 block of Whitwood Road in Viola. Law enforcement say that the victim in this case went to fetch things from his vehicle after an accident when he got into a dispute with Lester Kunst, 88 of Viola.

Kunst is said to have fetched a .22 rifle from his home and came back to the vehicle before shooting out two of the tires. The victim then claims Kunst pointed the rifle at him, while Kunst denies doing so.
Kunst is facing a felony charge of Aggravated Assault, and a misdemeanor of 1st degree criminal mischief. Kunst has since been released after posting $20,000 bond.
