A Passenger from a DWI Stop in Mountain View Faces Numerous Charges

A DWI arrest leads to the passenger receiving multiple charges.  According to the probable cause statement officers with the Mountain View Police Department made a stop on a white Cadillac in Mountain View, the driver appeared to be intoxicated, the passenger of the vehicle was highly intoxicated, and belligerent was known to officers as Midnight Andrews.  He was known from previous encounters and some of those were violent in nature.

After calming down Andrews asked for a ride to his home to get driver for the vehicle.  Officers gave him a ride home and brought his girlfriend to drive the vehicle from the scene.

Later officers were advised that Andrews was at the back door of the department yelling at 911 operators and beating on the door.  As officers were handling the situation Andrews reached down the back of his pants and began throwing and flicking feces at the officers, these actions continued inside the building and he was arrested.  The following charges have been filed Resisting/Interfering with an Arrest, Assault 3rd Degree, Obstructing a Governmental Operation.  He has a bond amount of $50,000 Cash or Corporate Surety.
