Annual Chocolate Festival Set for May 10

Christos House is once again inviting the public to indulge their sweet tooth at its annual Chocolate Festival. The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the First United Methodist Church, located at 503 West Main Street in West Plains.

Chocolate enthusiasts will enjoy a variety of delectable offerings from both professional and amateur chocolatiers. The festival will feature a tasting competition, with prizes awarded during the event. Attendees can also look forward to a silent auction throughout the afternoon and a live auction beginning at 1 p.m.

Admission is $10 and includes 15 tasting tickets, which can be used to sample the many chocolate creations available. Children 10 and under may enter free with adult supervision. Additional tasting tickets will be available for $1 each or six for $5.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Christos House Domestic and Sexual Violence Shelter and Outreach Program, which serves victims and families across eight counties: Carter, Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas, and Wright.
