Dr. Jason C. Morris, Agriculture Business Specialist, will be teaching a workshop on September 23rd and September 30th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the University of Missouri Extension Center in West Plains, MO
The cost per person for the two-week course is $20.00 per person and covers meals and refreshments. An additional family member can attend for $10.00.
Topics to be covered are body condition core of beef cattle, heifer Development, soil health and weed management, livestock risk protection and heifer costs vs. replacement.
You can register in advance by contacting Howell County Extension Center at 417-256-2391 and paying your fee before Sept 19. Space may be limited, and you are encouraged to register early.
