The Current River Callers, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation and the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), will host an Extreme Jake’s Shooting Event for teens ages 13 to 17 on Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Rover Gun Club in Rover, Missouri.
This free outdoor event offers youth the chance to participate in hands-on shooting activities, including .22 rifle target shooting, trap shooting, and clay “rabbit” shooting. The event promotes firearm safety and outdoor sportsmanship. Participants will enjoy a complimentary lunch and water, with additional snacks and drinks available for purchase at the lodge. All attendees will receive a free Extreme Jake’s membership and be entered into a drawing for door prizes.
Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure enough supplies are available. To register, text your name and number of attendees to 417-274-8886. A representative from the Current River Callers will follow up to confirm.
