A Pottersville woman faces assault and burglary charges after a violent incident on March 7. Deputies say Raquel Lopez Cockrum dragged another woman from a truck by her hair, then struck her with fists, a cellphone, and a shoe.
The victim suffered facial and shoulder injuries and was treated at Ozarks Healthcare. Cockrum reportedly admitted to the assault and showed deputies video of the attack. She was arrested and booked into the Howell County Jail with bond set at $5,000.
