Mountain Home, AR. – Officials from the Mountain Home Fire Department are investigating the aftermath of a fire that was caused by a small explosion in a residence in Mountain Home.
Those from the Fire Department responded to a residence on Westridge Road around 7:15pm after receiving a report of the explosion. No injuries were reported, and the fire damage is considered low. However, the force of the explosion did damage the foundation of the house, as it took place in a basement closet.

This has been reported as being likely a fluke incident, and further cause is being investigated.
