TCSO: Licking woman charged after cocaine found in vehicle

LICKING, Mo. — A woman from Licking faces drug charges after a traffic stop on Monday evening.

Authorities say 38-year-old Cynthia Farris was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and fail to drive on the right half of the roadway.

Farris was stopped by Texas County deputies the evening of November 4 after reportedly committing a traffic violation while traveling on Highway 32 in Licking. During the stop the deputy received consent to search the vehicle and reportedly found cocaine inside.

Farris was arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail, Farris informed another deputy that she also had a pipe and more of the drug concealed on her person.

Farris was held in the Texas County Jail pending $50,000 bond.
