The U.S. 160 overpass project is entering a new phase of construction that includes a section of road from Old Airport Road to Freedom Drive.
This will require a detour shift beginning Wednesday, Nov. 19, for motorists traveling north or westbound from Independence Drive/U.S. 160 East to turn north onto Amy Street, then west onto Good Hard Drive to Old Airport Road. East and southbound traffic will continue to use Missouri Avenue to Thornburgh Avenue to detour.
Weather permitting, this traffic shift is expected to remain in place for roughly eight weeks. The overpass project remains on schedule and is anticipated to be complete in late spring 2026.
