A single vehicle accident injured two of the three people in the vehicle on slick roadways south of Ava Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred when a 52-year-old Ava woman slid off of Highway N, struck an embankment and overturned in a 2004 GMC Envoy around 3:45 a.m.

Two passengers in the vehicle, a 54-year-old man and a 13-year-old juvenile both sustained minor injuries and were taken to Cox South in Springfield for treatment, the driver was not injured according to the crash report.
