Graveside Services for Bill Dale, Age 87 of Oregon County, Missouri will take place on Friday, January 9th, 2026 in The Hickory Grove Cemetery, Alton, Missouri beginning at 2:00 PM.
Billy E. Dale was born in Oregon County, MO December 24, 1938, youngest and only son of Howard and Lessie Christain Dale and passed away peacefully at his home January 5, 2026.
Bill married Ann Clark of Alton, November 7, 1959. They were blessed with two children.
He is survived by his wife, children Tina (Jerry) Blankenship, Dean (Rose) Dale, all of Alton, MO, sister Jean Lance, brother-in-law Jim (Deb) Clark, grandchildren from Rose, Shelly (Jon) Hollis, Casey (Josh) Leitner, five great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Bill Spent a lifetime of hard work and having a good time. He said he started working at age 13, driving a truck for his dad. Bill and Ann spent a lifetime in the timber and sawmill business. They also raised beef cattle. Most joyful time was spent on the Eleven Point river.
He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Everette Joe (Lorene) Clark, two sisters Mary (Dewayne) Nickless, Ava (Thaine) Johnson, brothers-in-law Charlie Lance and Rick Clark.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Memorial Research Hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Clary Funeral Home, Alton, Missouri.
