Debra Lee “Rabe” Dotson, 64 of Cabool, passed away peacefully and entered into eternal glory on October 28, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born December 15, 1960, the first of twins to Robert and NerVella “Buechler” Rabe in Iroquois County, IL. Baptized Jan 8th, 1961 by Pastor B.F. Prange at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka, IL.
Her family moved to Wisconsin Dells, WI in April, 1962 and lived on Valley View dairy farm, they later moved to Cabool, MO in December 1973 and lived on Piney View ranch. She was confirmed at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, MO in 1974. She graduated with the Class of 1979 from Cabool High School.
She married Larry Dotson July 1, 1979 in Houston, MO. and they had one son.
She had been employed at Brown Shoe Company and WoodPro Cabinetry, both in Cabool.
She will be remembered as a caring and giving person with a stubborn attitude. She loved her son more than anything and spoke of him often. She will be missed by those who really knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Tamara Cannon. Surviving are her son, Tucker; grandchildren, Travis, Gabriel and Cecilia; her sisters, Kandra Rabe, Denise (Mark) Quessenberry, Cynthia (Dale) Flanagan, Brenda (Dave) Hass and Michelle (Tom) Fussner; her nieces and nephews, Robby, Lacey, Eli, Trenton, Colby, Quincy, Nick, Ashton, Nora and Tommy; as well as great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and numerous friends.
Per her request no services will be held, a private family graveside memorial will be at a later date.
