Elva (Hancock) Ragland, daughter of the late Floyd and Martha (Proctor) Hancock, was born November 19, 1937, at Rockbridge, Missouri, and departed this life July 26, 2022, at her home in Drury, Missouri. She was 84 years, 8 months, and 7 days of age.
Elva was a long-time resident of the Drury area. In her younger days she raised her family while working at Rockbridge as a cook. She loved being outdoors while tending to flowers and gardening.
Besides her parents, Elva was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Ragland, and two brothers, Dale and Roy Hancock.
Elva is survived by one daughter, Sheila Brown of Drury, Missouri, two sons, Rickey Stout and wife, Loretta, and Joe Stout and wife, Teresa, all of Drury, Missouri, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
