Evelyn was a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church. For 64 years as a pastor’s wife, her and Tom traveled to many places faithfully preaching The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She loved her family. She loved cooking for family gatherings, Thanksgiving and Christmas being her favorite. She cooked many things but her chicken -n- dumplings were the biggest request. She was a wonderful hostess. She loved reading, fishing, (catching perch no matter how small she wouldn’t throw it back), and most of all taking care of Tom, the love of her life. Her love for the Lord Jesus was a shining example to the entire family and to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts.
Services will 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, at the Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Tom Foster and Edward Casey officiating. Visitation will be Noon-1:00pm at the Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Church Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
