Johnnie Kay Fellinger, 80 years, 5 months, and 7 days old, passed away on October 25, 2025, at her home in Ava with family by her side.
Johnnie was born May 18, 1945, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Curtis and Katie Mae (Smythe) Oxford.
On October 21, 1981, Johnnie and Doug Fellinger were united in marriage at Miami, Oklahoma. Johnnie and Doug were known as Champion Swing/Two Step Dancers. They loved going to the dance competitions.
In her early years she worked as an Office Manager for Purolater Products out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Johnnie enjoyed quilting, piano, and any types of arts and crafts. Her joy was spending time with her grand and great grandkids!
Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doug; and her sister, Laura Wilson.
She is survived by five children and their spouses, Mark & Brenda Fellinger, Travis & Alicia Fellinger, Curtis Peavey, Dawne & Dan Burton and Jon & Monica Peavey; 11 grandchildren, Adrian, Damon, Jada, Shinaed, Alex, Bailee, Addison, Carson, Brooke, Luke, and Cassie; 15 great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Wicklund of Portland, OR; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation services for Johnnie are under the care of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Her family is doing a private Celebration of Life for her.
