Kathleen Ann Draper, 77, of Thayer, Missouri, passed away on October 24, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on February 25, 1948, in Ashley, North Dakota, to Albert and Leona (Kaul) Roesler.
Kathleen was blessed with two daughters earlier in life, Marsi and Elisa. Later, she married the love of her life, Charles Daryl Draper, in California, and together they raised two daughters, Christina and Maranda, building a family filled with love.
A homebody at heart, Kathleen found peace and joy in the comfort of her home and the presence of her loved ones. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping trips with her family, creating memories under the stars. Later in life, she cherished quiet days surrounded by her favorite things—music of all kinds, her favorite color purple, and her collection of Native American artifacts. She was also a devoted fan of many television shows, which kept her entertained and connected to the world.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Daryl Draper, and her parents, Albert and Leona Kaul Roesler.
She is survived by her children, Christina Brown and husband David, Maranda Hansen and husband Chebere Valdez, Marsi Salvati, Elisa Huesman Zamora and husband Oscar; grandchildren Levi Brown, Mason Brown, Alex Hansen, Micheal Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Skyler Lombardi, Jillien Salvati-Cornell (Scott), and Joseph Salvati (Ali); great-grandchildren Harrison Cornell and Hudson Cornell; and brothers Bob, Dave, and Rich Roesler.
Kathleen will be deeply missed by her family and all who loved her.
