Lloyd Calvin Stricklin

Lloyd Calvin Stricklin, age 87, of Festus, Missouri, passed away on October 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 30, 1937, in Houston, Missouri, to Ernest and Erma (Mabel) Stricklin. Lloyd graduated from Houston High School in 1956. Lloyd worked as a parts and service manager for auto dealerships for over 30 years, where he was respected for his dedication, knowledge, and strong work ethic.

Lloyd married the love of his life, Bonnie Lee Cox on May 13, 1960, at the Willow Springs Christian Church. Lloyd and Bonnie continued their membership during their time in Willow Springs in this church. They were married for 64 years before she preceded him in death on September 8, 2024.

Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Joy (husband, Clint) Johnston of Festus, MO; grandsons, Brian (husband, Thomas) Paul of Springfield, MO, and Brett (wife, Claire) Paul of Cottleville, MO; step-grandchildren, Ryan (wife, Karen) Johnston of Jonesboro, AR; and Kayla Johnston (fiancé, Ethan Mejia) of Sulphur Springs, TX. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Keaton Michael Paul and Magnolia Ryan Johnston, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.

Lloyd enjoyed arts and crafts, woodworking, working on cars, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his creativity, his kind heart, and the love he shared with.
