Tony Joseph Ladd, was born November 23, 1945, to Truman and Lela (Dye) Ladd. Tony departed this life on August 15, 2020, at Birch Tree Place Nursing Home, Birch Tree, Missouri.
Tony leaves behind his wife, Georgia; four children, Jeff Ladd of Hillsboro, MO, Rebecca (Claude) Rathburn, Paige Ladd, and Michael Ladd, all of Winona, MO; six grandchildren, Jacob Rathburn of Winona, MO, Cassandra Rathburn of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Chelsea Braswell of Hillsboro, MO, Kiersten Ladd of Festus, MO, Brittany Ladd, and Caitlin Ladd of Ste. Genevieve, MO; five great-grandchildren, Ben, Lucas, and Madison Braswell, Cooper Baxby, and James Naeger, Jr.; and one sister, Dewania (Dick) Murray of Poplar Bluff, MO; along with a host of other friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Eric Ladd; and one sister.
Tony was a member of the First Baptist Church in Birch Tree, Missouri. He worked for the Gulf Mobile, Ohio, and Amtrak Railroad’s where he retired in 1992.
Tony was loved by all who knew him for his quiet spirit and hard-working attitude. Also, for his love for fishing, wood-working projects, and singing in the church choir.
