Downtown Stroll, OzSBI Art, and a Lunch with Art Event All Within a Week

West Plains, MO. – We’re now officially in the month of August, and while there are no major holidays in the month, there are still interesting happenings taking place over the next week or so through the West Plains Arts Alliance.

On this weeks West Plains Arts Alliance Update with Terry Hampton, we get some information on the West Plains Downtown Stroll, a new art display at OzSBI from a well known local artist, and Lunch with Art event at the West Plains Public Library featuring everyone’s favorite local cowboy, Rick Hamby.

Priority Pet Care – Make An Appointment

To summarize, the West Plains Downtown group and area will be hosting the latest Downtown Stroll, giving the public and local businesses chances to interface in a monthly event. This will happen on Thursday, beginning at 4pm.

Secondly, Garret Melby, local painter has created a collection of art that is currently on display at OzSBI; you can meet mister Melby this Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

Lastly, on this coming Monday, “Cowboy Rick” Hamby will be present at the West Plains Public Library for the Council on the Arts monthly Lunch with Art series, discussing his Stagecoach Journey trips.
