Bat Houses and Pumpkins Highlight Mammoth Spring “Falloween” Event

MAMMOTH SPRING, Ark. — Only a few spaces remain for this year’s “Falloween” program at Mammoth Spring State Park and the Mammoth Spring National Fish Hatchery, happening Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.

The event, sponsored by the Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce, offers a fun and educational day for families to learn about bats in the Ozarks, build their very own bat house, and take part in a pumpkin painting contest.

The program is free to attend, but space is limited. Each household may receive one bat house kit and one pumpkin.
