MELBOURNE, Ark. — The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has released its monthly activity report for July, detailing a steady volume of calls, arrests, and court filings.
According to the report, dispatch received a total of 427 calls for service during the month. Deputies completed 100 incident reports and responded to 13 motor vehicle accidents.
The office also filed eight new felony cases with the Izard County Circuit Clerk and served 74 civil papers.
Jail staff booked 41 inmates in July, with a daily average of 37 inmates housed at the detention facility.
Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office Administration collected $11,238.48 in restitution for victims, as well as fines and fees.
